I mentioned a few posts ago that I had a new helper. His name is Josiah (Joe for short) and in that post you saw lots of photos of his energetic puppy-face. Like this one:
Adorable. But here’s the thing – during the day, I see a lot more of this:
Not quite as helpful. But at least he’s not shoving his nose in my face! Wait…
Shoot. Well, at least he’s nice about it instead of being grumpy that I woke him up! Er…
Maybe not. Oh-well. Back to work! Thanks for all the help, Joe!
(ps: Sweet Josiah was a rescue that we adopted through Pup Squad – they are an absolutely wonderful foster/rescue group, and they’ve been a real pleasure to work with. If you’re in the Houston area and looking for a pet, please do yourself and your future pet a favor and talk to these folks. If you’re not ready to bring a new friend home, that’s ok! Pup Squad could really use your donation support – they paid for Josiah to be neutered and treated for heartworms, and they do the same for every animal that comes through their organization.)
